About Christoph Blank
Christoph, M.Sc. works as a Marketing Consultant and holds a PhD in Communication and Media Science. In 2006 he founded the communication and advertising agency BLANKSCHMIDT located in Düsseldorf, Germany, and since 2008 he is a visiting lecturer at the Heinrich-Heine-University of Düsseldorf at the department of Communication and Media Studies.
After his first degree in 2003 as a Business Lawyer with a focus on copyright and intellectual property he had first touch points with the art world and starts running the online art platform called KUNSTBAR.
His main interest and ambition is to make art more accessible to a wider, younger and more diverse audience by pushing the art world and the artists into the digital age. As a Marketing Consultant he supports artists and cultural institutions in the context of Public Relations, Branding and Digital Media.
Furthermore he is interested in design, music and architecture. He loves political debates, running, playing tennis and is always up for a short trip to New York City. In addition, he is a friend of good food and drinks but prefers rather red than white wine and loves to spend time with his family.
