About the artist

Frederik Næblerød (born 1988, Denmark) works with different materials: oil and acrylic, polyfill, glue, drawings, sculpture, and installations. His works are expressive and sometimes grotesque. Often there is a reference to society, either climate-like, such as the Korshageproject , social/political as the Memorial flag project or a comment on the art itself, as objects covered with gold and the subject of worship in the Addicted to Six project.

Frederik Næblerød’s oil paintings were shown at the NADA art fair in Miami in December 2017 by the Canada Gallery (NYC) and he is currently in the exhibition The Brask Collection, at the JF Willumsen Museum in Frederikssund. He was portrayed in Børsen on January 12, 2018, as one of “Three Artists to Watch Out in 2018”.
